Description

A fine quality pair of Japanese Meiji Period signed bronze vases inlaid with silver and other metals, circa 1900. Both vases depict the same design of three wading Egrets in reedbeds with the birds' heads, necks and bodies in silver and their beaks and legs in a gold-coloured metal. The reeds are defined in a metal darker than the background bronze.

Condition: Very goo antique condition with soe fine scratches & marks commensurate with age.
