Description

This is an original etching by John Copley (1875-1950) titled 'Two girls by a stream', 1948, signed by the artist in pencil bottom centre.
It is printed on cream coloured paper with an 'England' watermark in the paper (bottom left).


John Copley's work is held in the V & A Museum, the Yale Centre for British Art as well as the British Museum.

Dimensions: Paper size 41 x 36 cm Plate impression 31.3 x 27.4 cm

Condition: Some handling creases affecting margins otherwise in excellent condition. Good even tone. Wide margins.
