DESCRIPTION:

This is a stunning 16 drawer haberdashery counter dating from the 1950/60 era. The counter is all beech with beech front and sides to the drawers, offset against the oxidised copper cup handles. The counter stands on block reeded legs. The counter has had a new laminated glass top at the other was too scratched and it impaired the visibility into the counter. The counter is a stunning colour mellowed to a warm hue colour and because the whole counter is made of beech it gives it a real modern look which enables it to settle into many more styles of setting both commercial as well as residential this is one of those counters that would look stunning as a stand-alone island or against a wall in a contrasting kitchen or in a craft or dressing room.

WORKSHOP REPORT:

The counter has been through the workshop but had the minimal work done as it wasn’t necessary this counter has been well looked after and enjoyed. It has had a new laminated top fitted and all old sticker residue removed and then given a general overall clean and polish all ready to be used and enjoyed for many years to come.
