Antique Pimco half hunter pocket watch.

The watch has a signed Swiss 15-jewel stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover which has some marking and a little unevenness.

The watch measures 50mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is the gold plated Star model from Dennison, a Birmingham based case maker and supplier to various watch makers. The case has minor marking, and an indentation to the back cover.

The winding crown pushes in to open the front cover. Inside, there is an acrylic lens which is in good condition. There is some white natural light reflection showing in the photos.

The dial is in good condition, just one faint hairline running up from the centre. Original blued steel hands including the special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.

The watch comes in a new presentation box.

With regards to appraisals / valuations, we receive a huge number of information requests each day and unfortunately do not have the manpower to deal with them all individually. Our advice would be to contact a local auctioneer for a full appraisal.
