The makers lacquered the brass and so it will retain its pleasing appearance without the need to be cleaned.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

The catches and hinges work perfectly.

The mirror frame is signed Stratton MADE IN ENGLAND.

Measures 7.5 cm diameter. Weighs 74.3 grams.

This compact has not been used with foundation and so all the accessories are free of any powder residue.

Although the compact has not been used with face powder there are some minor signs of handling.

This Stratton powder compact is suitable as a handbag mirror, for use with all loose foundation.
