A beautiful unused vintage Kigu powder compact which was crafted in the late 1950s/early 1960s.

This highly collectible powder compact is presented in the original box with the original pouch, guarantee label, puff and sifter.

This compact is suitable for all loose foundation, as a handbag mirror or cherished display collectible.

The lid and base are embellished with gilt engine turned designs that the makers named shantung.

Two leaping gazelles, leaves and a fluted border grace the lid.

The whole compact is in excellent condition.

The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection.

Some age related marks on the mirror.

The inner lid is stamped with the Kigu trademark.

Measures 7.2 cm diameter. Weighs 81.8 grams.
