Such a lovely 1950s Stratton compact mirror and matching lipstick set in the original hard case with the original outer box. The silver plated Stratton Princess compact and lipstick holder have the most wonderfully luxurious satinized finishes which are embellished with charming floral bouquets. See image two for a close-up. There isn't any loss of design or fading. The items are in super unused condition, as are the original accessories - pouch, signed puff, sifter and instruction leaflet. The original mirror sticker is in place. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The compact and lipstick case are signed Stratton. All clasps and hinges work perfectly. The base of the compact is adorned with smooth tone silver stars on a textured background.

The compact measures 7.3 cm diameter and weighs 82.6 grams.

The lipstick holder measures 5.4 cm long. The internal diameter of the lipstick holder cap measures 14 mm. Weighs 8.8 grams.

This compact is ideal for use with loose foundation, as a handbag mirror or cherished collectible.

It is unusual to find these cases in the original outer cardboard box.
