A superb fully hallmarked silver compact mirror which was crafted by Renzo Cassetti in the 1950s. Florid acanthus leaves and forget-me-not flowers adorn both sides of this highly collectible accessory. The central acanthus leaves are fashioned to resemble a small heart shape within a larger heart.

The compact is gleaming clean and completely free of any powder residue. The lid and base bear full sets of hallmarks which include the silver purity hallmark .800 and the maker's mark 210 FI. The catches and hinge work perfectly. The mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The interior base is lined with a clean protective liner. Measures 7.3 cm diameter. Weighs 53.6 grams.

This compact is ideal for use as a luxury handbag mirror or cherished display collectible.

The base is also suitable to hold pans of pressed pans of foundation powder measuring 66 mm diameter or less.
