A delightful ballet themed Stratton Musica musical powder box. The powder box is in super condition. The original box, pouch, puff & sifter are present. The enamel scene is gorgeous & depicts Svetlana Beriosova dancing (Sleeping Beauty). The lid decoration is excellent & does not have any enamel fading or loss. This scene was taken from a photograph by the society photographer Baron & it bears his signature. All clasps & hinges work perfectly. The bevelled mirror gives a good and accurate reflection. The music plays Brahms Lullaby very well indeed. Measures 3 1/4 inches x 3 1/4 inches. 174 grams.
