Stunning German art nouveau polished pewter claret jug by WMF, c.1900. Beautiful organic lines with cast detail of stylised flowers and trailing vines. A brass pin adds a striking detail to the hinge. Set on 4 scrolled feet, the base and inside are gilded. Stamped to the base with a star, "WMFB 99" and "I/0"

It measures 31cm high, 16cm handle to spout and 15cm across the base. Condition is very good with no damage or repair and light surface wear appropriate for age.
