Charming George I silver brandy pan of round bellied form with side spout, and a turned wooded handle with heart shaped terminal.

Hallmarked for London 1723, maker James Smith I.

It measures 16.5cm (6 1/2”) bowl to handle, 7.5cm (3”) wide across the bowl, 9cm (3 1/2”) high to the handle and 5.5cm (2 1/8”) high to the bowl. It weighs 92g/2.9ozt.

In good condition: there has been a small repair to the handle terminal where it joins the body and also to the spout at the join. The base edge is a bit distorted and there is a small ding and minor handling wear. No holes or splits. It has an engraved monogram on the side. The hallmarks are nice are clear and the handle is firm.
