Description

A fine Chinese silver filigree card case with the stylised depiction of flowering plants on each side rising from leaf rosettes. Scallop shapes edges to both sides and a hinged cover revealing an attractive shaped inner flange. A curved silver shield shaped cartouche to one side is unengraved. Unmarked, c.1880.

It measures 8.8cm (3 7/8") high, 6.3cm (2 1/2") wide and 1cm (3/8") deep.

In excellent condition, no damage to any of the wires and no repairs. The hinge is good and the cover closes flush.
