Description

A rare Worcester porcelain straight sided mustard pot with delicate shaped handle with deeply hollowed sections, the same design sometimes pierced right through, with a domed cover with spoon cut out and flower bud and leaf knop. Printed with the popular "Three Flowers" pattern, crescent mark to the base. c.1770.

It measures 9.8cm (3 7/8") high and 6.7cm (2 5/8") wide (9cm (3 1/2") including the handle).

In very good condition the pot is excellent with no damage or repair. The inner flange of the cover that sits inside the pot has a section that has been lost. This is clean and tidy, cannot be seen when in situ and doesn't affect use or aesthetic. A couple of nicks to the petals only and minimal handling wear. The printing is nice and crisp also with no running.
