A French petit sonnerie carriage clock, quarter striking on two gongs with ‘grand sonnerie’ repeat. Fine quality gilded gorge case with beveled glass all round and a large rectangular glass to the top. Signed to the white enamel dial ‘Examined by Dent, 33? Cockspur Street, London'.
