Description
An early 19th century drop dial wall clock with 12” convex dial signed B&W (Benjamin and William) Gray of Leicester. It has an 8 day line fusee movement with shouldered plates. Mahogany case with brass stringing and inlay to the trunk, the bottom of the case is curved to the wall with a locked access door. The slim wood surround is attached to the trunk by 4 wooden pegs in the usual way.C.1835 Height 23 ½” / 60cm Width 14 ¼” / 36cm
