Description
A superb, large, mahogany ‘Tavern Clock’. 8 day weight driven movement, with rectangular plates, with minute hand counterbalance on the rear movement plate. 17” painted iron dial, with its original signature, blued steel ‘heart’ hands and a thick concaved cast bezel. The case has choice veneer to the trunk door, an opening bottom door (to aid pendulum fitting) and two access doors for the movement.C.1810 Height 44” / 112cm Width 22” / 56cm
