Red chinoiserie mantle clock sold by Rattray and Co, Dundee. 8 day French round plate movement with platform escapement, benefitting from a recent service. The 80mm dial has been re-silvered by The Clock Barn, the hours indicated in Roman Numerals, with outer minute batons and black spade style hands, behind a chamfered glass sset in a cast brass bezel.The red chinoiserie case is in good original condition commensurate for the age and stands on 4 brass bun feet.
A full strip down and service has been carried out by the Clockbarn, this item is sold with 12 months guarantee.
