A fine early 18th‑century French ormolu mantel clock, the heavy, high‑quality case retaining its original gilding. The clock features an 8‑day movement with silk suspension, striking the hours and half‑hours on a bell.

The silvered and engine‑turned dial displays black Roman numerals and blued moon‑style steel hands. The movement is signed Levis & Sons, A Paris.
