Description

This delightful little sewing set is in it's original case. The pieces are silver but not marked. This is normal for small sewing items before around 1880, I'd be very surprised if they were marked! It consists of a double ended emery for removing rust from precious needles, a waxer and a thimble which is contemporary but may or may not be original. That again is fairly normal as the people who made the other items were unlikely to be thimble makers as this was a specialist skill. The pieces are all in excellent condition although the little case is worn in places. The box measures 3 1/2" x just under 2".
I prefer payment by bank transfer, details on request.
I regret that due to current regulations I am unable to ship ivory items to the United States, even though all items are CITES compliant.
