Description

The essential item for any Victorian lady wishing to keep her skirts dry and out of the mud, this brass skirt or hem lifter with pretty shell shaped clip was just the thing. The scissor action works well and one of the plates still has the padded cushion. It was patented by Fyfes and has a registration number and date of 1878 on the back. Closed it measures approximately 6" long.
