Description

Blue pressed glass thimble holder in the form of a shoe. It contains an old Charles Horner Patent Dorcas thimble in the Louise pattern, although it's very worn on the top. The glass thimble shoe is in very good condition with no real damage, just a minute nibble on the heel. It dates from the late 19th century. Measures approximately 2 1/4" long.

Items under 2kg can be mailed free of charge to UK mainland addresses by Royal Mail Special Delivery which will insure the item for up to £500. Please contact me for shipping costs to overseas destinations or for more expensive or heavier items.
