Description

Lovely Tunbridge ware rosewood "Go-to-Bed", or more correctly, a match or taper & sealing wax holder. This is larger than most I've had standing 3 1/2" tall including the bone holder. Lovely geometric patterns adorn all eight sides and the top. The central body is divided into three sections. It dates from the late 19th century. The condition is excellent in every way with no damage or repairs.
