Description

This tiny leather covered cylindrical etui has steel fittings and contents. Inside are six interchangeable crochet hooks and a handle into which they all screw. Five of the hooks are original and one looks like a replacement but they all fit the handle perfectly. For an item of this age it's in excellent condition with no damage to the case or contents. The push button catch works well and the hinge is strong. It stands just over 2 1/2" high and under 1" in diameter. It's French and dates to around 1870.
