Description

A Royal Worcester candle snuffer or extinguisher modelled as Mr Caudle. A popular character from the Victorian magazine Punch, Mr Caudle was always being berated by his wife and would rather be sleeping! The snuffer is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. It has the date code for 1897.It stands just over 3" high.
