Description

A large George V period heavy quality solid silver wine ewer, hallmarked London 1925. Octagonal foot rising to meet the urn shaped vessel with tall narrow neck above, angular spout set to the side and large scrolled over handle with fretted inset to the opposite side. Cast hinged lid with finial style handle to the top. Decorative band of stud design decoration to the top of the vessel with angular swag engraving below. Bears the makers mark for London silversmiths Jones & Willis along with clear hallmarks to all sections. Heavy quality weighing in at over 900g and presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine. More items available via our website .
