A fine quality early Victorian figured walnut decanter box with original fitted interior and six matching cut crystal decanters, retailed by Sampson Mordan c.1850. The figured polished walnut exterior with brass bound edges and corners, complimenting brass stringing to the front and family name to the top. The box opening with Bramah lock and key to reveal a superb original fitted interior with velvet and leather linings. Six compartments to hold the original cut crystal decanters with matching stoppers all in clear and undamaged condition. Bears the retailer name Sampson Mordan to the lock plate, presented in superb original condition with a rich polish, including key for the working lock. More items available via our website .
