A superb Victorian silver plate and horn carp design dinner bell on polished oak plinth C.1880. The moulded edge polished oak base plinth supporting the carp design bell stand, with cast head and tail, the top quality silver plate in mint condition. Polished cow horn centre section. Heavy quality bell hung from the tail. Bell striker sat on mounting forks to the base. Presented in immaculate condition with a deep shine and original patina, the bell with a good ring. Measures 16" high x 11" wide x 7.5" deep. Stock number 35653.
