Description

This is an elegant Silver Plated Warming Plate complete with Spirit Burner by the famous company Asprey of London. The Warming Plate comprises the elegant stand with cabriole legs, circular feet and two cane wrapped handles for insulation, the spirit burner that sits within the centre of the stand and the aluminium hot plate that sits within the top of the stand.

The stand is marked A & Co, which dates it to 1900-1909, ASPREY LONDON in an oval, and bears the model number 17570, as shown. The burner has a patent number and the hot plate bears a Crown motif and the words ASPREY LONDON, also as shown.

Condition: Excellent. The cane of the handles is undamaged. The silver plate is in very good condition with virtually no wear. The burner has the wick in situ.
