The floral engraved gilt brass corniche case is in stunning condition. The case has been completely dismantled and hand polished to a high standard by Westmorland Glass in chesterfield and protective coating added. All 5 pieces of bevelled glass are in fantastic condition and looks to be original. The enamel dial with Roman numerals is in fantastic condition. The only fault I can find on the dial is the fading of the alarm dial. The clock is operated by a eight-day spring driven movement with original lever escapement striking and repeating on a bell, The backplate is marked with the makers stamp 'B'. The clock comes with a fantastic quality leather case which has been with the clock for many many years as you can see from the in print of the hand on the top of the case but I suspect this case is not 100% original to the clock.
The clock is a great size being 18cm high (with handle up) 10 cm wide and 8cm deep
Although I provide detailed photographs to the best of my ability this clock really needs to be personally viewed to appreciate to quality.
This is a genuine and original clock and I offer a full money back guarantee to this end.
