Here is a stunning quality mahogany tavern clock circa 1850. The case is in fantastic untouched condition retaining its original finish with intricate inlay to the edges of the trunk. This clock is 1 of 2 that I obtained from a private collector known for collecting some fine examples. The 14inch dial made by William Finnemore is signed Thomas Joy of Brentham. After much research I've come to the conclusion that this is the retailers name. The longer duration movement is of fantastic quality having been regularly cleaned and serviced by the previous owner. This clock must be seen to be appreciated for its originality and condition. The dimensions are 120cm (47.inches) long 46cm(18 inches) wide at the hood. 18cm(7inches) deep at the trunk which in my opinion make it a wonderful size.
My contact details are at the bottom of my listings should a prospective buyer wish to contact me directly.
