Description

A large brass and wood powder flask . I think this is German/Bavarian. and 18 century. Hardwood body with applied plaques both sides one side very word “rubbed “ the other side you can clearly see in the centre of the plaque a scene depicting a Woolf. I think this is some sort of ceremonial “dress” flask as I can see no way to fill it but it does show considerable wear not battle scared just worn as if it had rubbed against a rough tunic. Highly decorative.
