Set Of 8 Cut Glass / Crystal Wine Glasses
Description
A set of 8 cut glass wine glasses which we believe to be Stuart Crystal in the Glengarry design. They are in good condition but a couple of the rims have been refinshed so no chips now. These are or should we say were about £70 each when new but this set of 8 is only £100. Very good value for a quality set. We have also listed a set of 12, quite rare, of similar glasses but the slightly smaller size. A superb Christmas present perhaps and a very keen price.

Set Of 12 Crystal Wine Glasses
Description
A rather rare set of 12 cut crystal wine or claret glasses. I believe these to be Stuart Crystal Glengarry design, they are in good condition and would make a superb Christmas or say a housewarming present for a modest outlay compared to new. They are in truth as good as new. That price I understand was about £70 each but these are available for £150 for the full set. Walnut Pier Cabinet 19th Century
Description
This burr walnut pier cabinet dates from the 19th Century and is superb example of the craftmanship of the day. The graining is good as is the colour in the timbers. Attractive Water Colour Early 1900s
Description
A rather pleasing water colour from the early 1900s. It has a mount and is in a good gilt frsme. The colours are good and better than most for its age but there is some foxing. We are led to believe this is somewhere around Marple in Cheshire but are unable to verify. It is a nice size at 50cms across and would fit into many a home well, especially as it is reasonably priced at only £48.

Clean Mahogany Side Table
Description
A this mahogany side table is in pretty much original condition, we have given it a clean and rewxing and it is now ready for a new adventure. A useful little table from the 1800s that could also be a small desk or maybe a small dressing table if space may be limited. Although it may be a touch later it has classic Georgian simple lines and the brass swan necked handle sits on the drawer which is all Oak lined. A great item, so sensibly priced at £210.

Occasional Table With Carved Top And Base.
Description
In very good condition for one of these tables this ebonised example has good crisp carving not only on the top but on the base platform too. Always a good talking point this almost certainly was an import from Japan in the early 1900s. Many were destined for Libery\'s and this may or may not have been one of them. Good Tapestry In Impressive Frame 1800s
Description
This tapestry is in a most impressive Oak frame from the 1800s. The tapestry itself could be earlier but we have not investigated. Displaying an interesting subject of what appears to be early explorers surveying a landscape from high ground, it has some fade over the years but as can be seen in the pictures it is still clear and undamaged. The frame, is a most unusual shape and has good clean and crisp carving. It seems to be English but could be Flemish perhaps maybe towards French boarder. A rather nice item, keenly priced at only £145.

Pretty Occasional Or Bedroom Chair Early 1900s
Description
This is a pretty occasional or bedroom chair in great condtion having been cleaned in our workshops. It has been freshly reupholstered in a neutral fabric that should conflict with nothing in most homes. As can be seen in the pictures the top rail on the back is string inlaid in the Mahogany and it has stretchers in the base to give extra support to the legs. could suit a pretty dressing table perhaps. Circular Mahogany Inlaid Occasional Table.
Description
A tidy early 1900s Mahogany occasional table. This round example has an inlay around the top and down the legs. It is in a tidy condition having had an earlier restoration. There is some light fade from its original colour but it is by no means detremental and is as one might expect with one of these tables unless it has just been restored. 19th Century Bird's Eye Maple Frame.
Description
This nice clean 19th Century frame is in Birds Eye Maple. Suitable for a mirror or a painting it has a great flowing line across the moulding. We have cleaned this and it is now ready for its new home. French Walnut Dressing Table Mirror Or Overmantle
Description
This nice clean French walnut mirror is intended to fit onto a dressing table or chest of drawers. It has great carving and detail and a nice bevel on the mirror, which is also good and clean. However this example we think could make a superb overmantle, either as it is or it could be finished in Gilt. If the trinket boxes are removed, which is only a lift off operation it could sit over a fireplace and look superb.
