A fabulous Japanese calligraphy writing table crafted from Keyaki, the highly prized Japanese elm known for its striking grain and exceptional durability. The piece is in excellent antique condition and retains a wonderful depth of colour and patina. The table features three smooth‑running drawers, each fitted with its original metal handle. As with all genuine working pieces, there are small age‑related imperfections, but it remains a solid, beautifully made table with superb graining throughout.
