The hinged top opens to reveal a generous playing or serving surface, supported by a smooth swivel action. Beneath, a shaped frieze with decorative carved detail supported on a beautifully turned column with carved collar sitting on a concave quadruple platform base with carved bun feet. The superb craftsmanship and excellent condition speak to the quality of the piece. The superb quality and condition shows high craftsmanship and would look stunning in any home. This is a very versatile table that can be used as a console or side table and when opened it is an ideal size (H=73.5cm x W=92cm x D=90cm) for an intimate supper.
