A superb pair of Edwardian oak bookcases in outstanding antique condition. Each bookcase is composed of four detachable sections—three with leaded glass fronts and a plinth base—allowing for effortless transport and flexible arrangement within any interior. The glazed doors lift and slide smoothly on their original mechanisms, with neat metal handles adding a subtle period touch. Internal shelf clearances are approximately 22cm (top), 32cm (middle), and 27cm (base), offering generous space for books or display items. Displaying a rich, warm patina and beautifully figured grain. Minor age-related imperfections only enhance their character and authenticity. With their classic design and historical charm they are perfect for creating a stylish and functional focal point in any study, library, or living space.
