Description

A charming French country house kitchen table crafted from solid cherry wood in excellent antique condition. The four-plank top, finished with traditional breadboard ends, sits on square tapering legs, lending a clean and elegant profile. The surface bears the kind of gentle historical wear that speaks to its provenance, adding authentic rustic character. The frieze houses two drawers—one smaller at the front and a larger to the left side—both constructed with fine dovetail joints and fitted with their original cup pull handles. Smooth-running and fully functional, they offer useful storage while preserving the table’s period charm. Structurally sound and beautifully coloured, the cherry wood reveals a rich patina and pronounced grain throughout. Measuring just over six feet in length, it comfortably seats six to eight, making it equally suitable for everyday family meals or more formal entertaining.
