Franz Bergman Cold Painted Bronze Fighting Cocks

Description
Please check out my other cold painted bronze figures.Rare pair of Vienna cold painted bronze fighting cocks attributed to Franz Bergman (1861-1936).
Dating to the late 19th/early 20th century, both figures are impressed with the ‘Geschutzt’ patent mark along with a typical Bergman four digit model number, ‘1101’.
In good antique condition structurally, most of the paint has worn off over the years. There are drilled holes to one wing of each bird, the purpose of which I’m not sure.
They measure 12 x 10 cm and 10.5 x 7.5 cm. Combined weight is 783 grams.
