British Railways Coach Rondel called the Lion and the Wheel also nicknamed the ferret and dartboard! The lion always faced left. Used on BR coaches between 1956 and 1968 this is thought to be one of the later versionsDate1960s

ConditionGenerally in very good condition just a few scuffs and small marks. One bolt from the attaching fixing missing as shown on the photo this has no impact on the integrity of the item which was later fixed with a cross hanging wire enabling the sign to be hung up for display
