Made from solid bronze with a lovely aged patina, this figural nutcracker features scissor-action handles formed as crossed bones, with the skull acting as the cracking chamber.Stamped “Rd. No. 740410” (registered design), this piece dates to the late 19th century and shows the quality and imagination typical of Victorian novelty metalware.
