A Briggs silver top walking cane 1893 (letter “S”), fully hallmarked for London, lion rampant plus initials “G C”. This may be the silversmith. The silver top has a few minute dents, see photos, nothing to worry over. The shaft is a very dark fine grained Indian rosewood with a subtle, smooth sheen. It tapers to a silver plated and steel end. All in very sound condition. Measuring 91cm or 35 3/4″ approximately. Elegant and classic. For UK buyers.
