A large Austrian cold painted bronze study of three budgerigars perched on a leafy branch.

This large scale Austrian bronze depicts three blue budgerigars perched together on a leafy branch. The modelling and condition of this bronze is superb. The painted feather detail is fresh and bright, indicating this has been a prized example and spent most of its life in the protected environment of a display cabinet.

The bronze is mounted onto a moulded and polished black marble base with white, grey and sable inclusions and grain.
The underside of the marble is leather lined to protect a polished surface.
This bronze is in excellent condition with some very small minor losses to the painted decoration in keeping with age and handling.
