Mabel Lucie Attwell Shelley porcelain figures

Description
A very scarce pair of Shelley porcelain figures one of a cheeky young boy wearing a hat and carrying a basket of flowers and the other of a girl wearing a pretty dress and matching bonnet carrying an umbrella and handbag both modelled by the famous English artist Mabel Lucie Attwell (1879 - 1964) who was well known for her popular cute, nostalgic drawings of children throughout the 1920s and early 30s. Her drawings are featured in many advertisements, posters, books and porcelain figures.Shelley Fine Bone China was renowned for its high quality porcelain and produced in relatively low numbers these and other examples of Mabel Lucie Attwell’s work.
These fine bone China figures are in excellent original condition with no restoration.
