Taken from Proverbs 20:1 ‘Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise’ this early 20th century temperance movement banner holds a message for us all! The canvas banner would have been displayed at marches and at meetings of an early temperance movement around the turn of the 20th century.

Framed by us in a simple contemporary black frame we promise to look at this at least once a day just before we open a bottle of red.
