Description

A very good example of a 19th century Welsh settle with an unusual single drawer configuration. In fabulous original condition and with super colour and time worn finish. The textureto the finish is most apparent on the left hand side, clearly where the settle has been sitting by the fireside in a Welsh cottage. All original, excellent condition with ‘1897’ carved under the seat. Pitch pine with original finish.
Measuring 136 cm wide, 104 cm high, 49 cm deep. Seat 34 cm front to back, height to seat 45cm
