A SUPERB COLOUR ENGLISH NORTH COUNTRY SETTLEROB HALL ANTIQUES
A North country settle of beautiful colour. The curved settle with sledge feet and panel back stands approximately 180 cm tall by 125cm wide. The provincial north country pine settle retains the original finish with mahogany paint effect to both the back and left hand side panel. the settle has obviously been made to be near a fireside and the paint effect to to the right hand side is rather pleasing where it has spent many, many years by the open fire. The drawers are beautifully styled having been made as curved drawers to follow the line of the seat. The handles are original. With some very minor repairs, this mid 19th century settle remains in beautifully original condition. A very good example.
