Description

A fine example of a late 18th century elm and yew wood comb-back Windsor chair. The crested top rail above a pierced centre splat, flanked by six long yew wood spindles and side slats piercing the arm bow, with eight further under-arm spindles and bent wood end supports. The elm paddle seat over straight legs united by a H-form stretcher.

Measuring height to seat 17.5”, height to back rail 46.5”, seat front to back 16”, overall widest point 25”
