Description

We love the delicious paint on this mid 19th century kitchen counter section. Originally part of a much larger piece, from a large country house, at some point a lead top has been added to cover the original pine. The proportions of the moulding and graduating drawers all make this a most attractive piece of furniture. On the right side, where the counter or large dresser base has been removed from the rest of the piece it is unpainted but it sits very well against the wall. We love the paint and we rather like the proportions as this would fit in many more homes than when it was its original size.
