Art deco charm and functionality combined. This oak menu board originates from a hotel in Sussex where it was used for many years before the hotel was demolished. The board holds the last ever menu it displayed, probably dating to the early 1950s it certainly offers a wide range of choice as long you want it served with toast. The back removes for changing of the menu. There wood is slightly darker at the bottom where it appears a pre-demolition smoke damage has darkened the wood. All rather charming and characterful and still a useful piece.
