A good example of a Davis & son of Derby & London surveyor’s measuring rod with brass maker’s plaque and well-patinated paint to the front. The three section rod extends to 14’ feet in length. Davis & son were renowned of optical, measuring and surveying equipment - indeed they still operate today as Davis Derby.Date1920s
