Evocative to the extreme a small Welsh child’s comb back chair dating to the late 18th/early 19th century. Condition is very good with just one old repair to the back. The black finish is well-patinated and the affects of
many years being by a Welsh fireside can be seen on the effect on the finish on the back and legs. The legs are in very good condition with no wear to the bottoms and just a touch of old worm beneath the oak seat which is not significant and historic.

A very good Welsh child’s chair.
